Living in Hollywood is indeed larger than life. Not a few executives, producers, and film crew have reported experiencing really bizarre behavior from actors and actresses on the set. To be brutally honest, celebrities sometimes have an ego that is just too difficult to work with, thus making the set a very unpleasant and awkward place to be in.

10. Steven Seagal
Seagal has gained notoriety for being a bully on the set – a very physical bully at that. Seagal is known to be quite brutal with the stuntmen, often hitting them with surprise kicks and punches just to check if they are on their toes all the time. Once, he was engaged in a physical fight with actor and co-star John Leguizamo who was surprised with Seagal’s absurd behavior on the set. No wonder that the actor has already ran out of projects – not to mention that age has already caught up with him.
9. David O. Russell
Russell is known in Hollywood as an excellent screenwriter and an even better director. Apparently, this is only one aspect of his image as insiders who have worked with him multiple times report that he is also one of the most difficult directors to work with. Often in a bad mood and foul mouthed, the director has gained infamy for often venting out his anger on his actors. He was once engaged in a very physical fight with ace actor George Clooney in the 1999 film “Three Kings.”
8. Faye Dunaway
Dunaway has been described as every director’s muse and also every director’s horror. Making a name for herself in a number of memorable performances from the late 60’s up until the 80’s, Dunaway was once engaged in a fight with her “Chinatown” director Roman Polanski. Dunaway urinated in a coffee cup and threw her urine at Polanski, who was both shocked and utterly terrified at Dunaway’s very rude behavior.

Academy Award winner Hackman is known as a veteran actor and also one of the most difficult actors to work with on the set. Hackman is every film crew’s nightmare, with his notorious temper and his ability to cow everybody on the set. Even established actors like Angelica Houston and Gwyneth Paltrow, as well as acclaimed director Wes Anderson all profess at how difficult Hackman is on the set.

He was one of Hollywood’s most established and most admired actors. His filmography and body of work are simply exemplary. If not iconic. However, Brando was also known as extremely moody on the set. He was also known to be uncooperative and often insisted on impossible demands. In his latter years, he also did not want to memorize his lines, often insisting that an earpiece be used so that the film crew could coach him his lines.

They say that the “Pretty Woman” was pretty easy to work with as long as she did not have any romantic or heart issues. Because when she does, film crew have stated that she was simply impossible to deal with. In the filming of one film, Roberts was said to have an explosive temper and was very difficult to deal with.
4. Jennifer Lopez
Lopez is said to be very difficult to work with because she was very demanding. She also hires a personal assistant for the simple reason of not wanting to talk to anyone on the set. People behind the film who wanted to speak to her have to go through her assistant and she often kept herself locked up in a room refusing to speak to anyone.

Bale may have earned many praises for his method acting skills, even winning a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for “The Fighter.” However, Bale is also pretty moody and highly temperamental and would insist on getting things his way on the set.
2. Bruce Willis
Willis’ “Cop Out” director has called him impossible to deal with during the filming of the movie. Worse, Willis also refused to move a muscle to promote the film, despite committing to doing so even before filming began.

Lohan’s rude behavior has earned her great infamy and notoriety in Hollywood. Her unprofessionalism and mood swings were said to be unparalleled in Tinseltown. No wonder that many directors have basically blacklisted her and never wanted to work with her again.
