The Voice Winners list of All Times

The Voice is a leader in the reality singing competition hosted by NBC. It is not only a singing competition genre, but  it has also established itself as a ratings juggernault in TV in general. What happens after the season ends, do the winners of each season end up being successful or they just vanish in thick air. So far, 9 talented vocalists have taken home a prize of $100,000 together with a record deal with Universal Music Group. To topple it up, they are normally crowned the Voice Champions.

Let us analyze the 9 winners and what they are up to

Season 1: Javier Colon, Born April 29, 1978

Javier Colon

He won the first season of The Voice on June 29, 2011. He was the darling of the listeners due to his spellbinding and humility vocals. After the show, he released an album “Come Through for You” which included his debut single “As Long as We Got Love”.  The lead coach for this season was Adam Levine assisted by Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera and CeeLo Green.  He departed from the record label Buddy TV and signed with Concord Music Group in 2014. In April 2016, he reached an agreement with Gravity and currently has a new album.

Season 2: Jermaine Paul, Born July 26, 1978

He is the winner of the second season of The Voice from there, the sky was limitless. The lead coach for this season was Blake Shelton assisted by Adam Levine, Christine Aguirela, and CeeLo Green; he was once Alicia Keys back up singer, has been nominated twice for the Grammy Awards and has been a voice to recon in the entertainment industry. He is currently an American R&B and Soul artist, songwriter and multi instrumentalist.

Season 3: Cassadee Pope, Born August 28, 1989

Cassadee Pope

She won season three of The Voice. The lead coach was Blake Shelton assisted by Adam Levine, Christine Aguirela, and CeeLo Green. Currently,  she is with the Hey Monday Music Group where she is a lead vocalist of the pop punk band. She is a well known American singer and songwriter and she has several singles to her credit like the most recent “Think of You” released in 2015.

Season 4: Danielle Bradbery, Born, July 23, 1996

Danielle Bradbery

This an American country singer from Cyprus, Texas, who, at  the age of 17, became the winner of season 4 which was held in 2013. The lead coach of the season was Blake Shelton assisted by Adam Levine, Shakira, and Usher. Currently, she is with the Big Machine Records and she has released several albums and singles. 2015, she released a single “ Friend Zone”.

Season 5: Tessanne Chin, Born September 20, 1985

Tessanne Chin

She is a Jamaican recording artist who won The Voice season 5 under the lead coach of Adam Levine, assisted by Blake Shelton, Christine Aguirela, and CeeLo Green. She has released several singles which include:Tumbling Down, Let It Be, I have Nothing, Everything Reminds Me, and Hide Away.

Season 6: Josh Kaufman, Born 1976

Josh Kaufman

This is an American sing songwriter, and soul singer who resides in Indianapolis, Indiana who won The Voice season 6 under the lead coach Usher assisted by Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and Shakira. He plays piano, vocals and guitar, associated with the Republic Records since 2010. He does pop, R&B, Pop Rock and soul.

Season 7. Craig Wayne Boyd

He won The Voice season 7 under the lead coach of Blake Shelton assisted by Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani, and Pharell Williams.  He is an American country singer and songwriter who has worked with record labels Dot Records, and Universal  Republic labels. He has released some albums like I ain’t No Quitter, Graig Boyd. Singles include: The Whiskey Ain’tWorkin’, You Look So Good in Love, Wave on Wave, and My Baby’s  Got A Smile O.

Season 8: Sawyer Fredericks, Born March 31, 1999

Sawyer Fredericks

He is an American songwriter and singer who at the age of 16, won The Voice. The lead coach was Pharell Williams, assisted by Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and Christine Aguirela. He is signed with Republic records. His singles include: Out Mine Window, Have You Ever Seen Me, Take it All, A Man of Constant Sorrow, and Simple Man.

Season 9: Jordan Smith, Born November 4, 1993

Jordan Smith

He is an American singer and songwriter who comes from Harlan, Kentucky. He won the season 9 The Voice under the lead coach of Adam Levine, assisted by Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, and Pharell Williams. He is currently signed by Republic records and his single includes: Chandelier, Beautiful, Halo, Great is Thy Faithfulness, and Stand in The Light.
