However, the Hollywood life is not all glitz, glamor, fame, and fortune. The truth is, a lot of the A-list stars have skeletons in their closets. Celebrities sometimes give in to their inner demons, perhaps due to the pressures of living a life in the public eye – with almost no semblance of privacy.

This has sadly thrown some celebrities on the brink. Shrinks are in vogue in Hollywood, and certain stars have battled mental disorders intermittently in their lives. There have been survival stories, yet there are those who just give up and “slip quietly into the night.”

Turning to drugs and alcohol, John managed to muster a 180 degree turn and sought help by going to rehab. Gladly, he had since recovered and continues to make music after almost five decades.

At the peak of the band’s career, Cobain tragically committed suicide by shooting himself.
