My Hero Academia is one of the most famous Japanese manga series. Written and illustrated by Kohei Horikoshi, the story follows Izuku Midoriya. He is a boy born with superpowers in a world where they have become commonplace. And while the main character is a young boy, there are also some amazing MHA girl characters.

The manga series received an anime adaptation. Both have received overwhelmingly positive responses from critics and the audience.

The series has inspired other spinoff manga series, including My Hero Academia Smash, My Hero Academia Vigilantes, and My Hero Academia Team Up Missions.

The first season of the anime series aired in Japan in June 2016. The upcoming sixth season will appear this year.

The fanbase for the series is growing larger every year. So, newcomers are asking whether they can watch it on the streaming platform Netflix in the US. The show is not available on the platform at the moment. At one point, Netflix had the first four seasons available.

The show is rich with popular male characters and MHA girl characters. While Izuku Midoriya takes the stage as the main character, the supporting characters have received praise and fans as well.

This professional hero has no hero rank number or alter-ego name. But she gladly helps the other heroes to combat villains or enemies. Uwabami is famous for her celebrity modeling career which she prefers over the life of a hero.

Yet, she doesn’t mind rising to the occasion when the need arises. Depicted with snakes on her head, they have acute sense, enabling the female character to locate criminals and civilians in need of aid.

She often assists rescue operations because of her senses.

Toru Hagakure

She is famous as the stealth hero or the invisible girl. Toru Hagakure is a powerful student excelling at stealth. Her Quirk is invisibility, making her body invisible to others. The only way she can be identified is by her clothes.

While the show plays a lot with her Quirk, the functioning isn’t exactly clear. Fans are always wondering whether she is always invisible or if she can deactivate the ability. That remains to be seen. Her technique and intelligence are her strongest assets.

Himiko Toga

Toga is considered one of the biggest threats to the U.A students, teachers, and Pro Heroes. Her Quirk is Transform, enabling her to change into anyone as long as she has ingested some of their blood. It might sound weird and strange, but that is her power.

She has been shown to replicate looks in the anime. Yet, in the manga series, she is even more powerful, replicating certain people’s Quirks.

She is a threat to anyone she fights. While she is a villain and has no hero ranking, she is one of the most beloved characters in the series. Toga is often instrumental in the League of Villains and their plans to take down the heroes. This is why she is one of the most beloved villains in the series.

Kyoka Jiro

Jiro is a capable professional hero. She is a popular character in the My Hero Academia series. She has been focused on much more than Hagakure.

Her Quirk is known as Earphone Jack. It allows her to use her earlobes to channel vibration attacks. It makes her one of the strongest girl characters in the show.

With such unique abilities, Jiro is hard to match up against anyone. And she is not weak at anything. According to her stats, she is a fairly balanced student who doesn’t have a particular weakness. Music is her biggest strength.

Nana Shimura

Nana is the seventh user of One For All. She is one of the most powerful characters in the MHA universe. Kind and dedicated, Nana has a strong sense of justice in the world. She taught her pupil All Might to always smile while saving people. And there is a simple reason for that. It reassures people and their hearts in the face of danger.

Her Quirk is Float, allowing her to hover in mid-air. She also has the inherited One For All Quirk, allowing the female character to elevate her physical abilities to superhuman levels. That can make her the strongest girl at any point.

Tsuyu Asui

Tsuyu is known as the Rainy Season Hero: Froppy. She is an able student and easily one of the best among the U.A. students in the first year. Her biggest strength is her Quirk. Known as Frog, her Quirk allows her to do everything that a frog can. That means sticking to walls, but also providing her with mobility, flexibility, and many other abilities.

Her fighting style is adaptive, which is logical when you consider her Quirk. Tsuyu Asui can fight enemies from a distance using her tongue, or fight them at close range and use her flexibility to win the battle. But her biggest strength is her ability to analyze the situation.

Rumi Usagiyama / Mirko

She ranks fifth in the Pro Hero roster behind Endeavor, Hawks, Best Jeanist, and Edgeshot. She is famous for refusing to back away when people are in danger. That is just her personality.

Mirko has Rabbit Quirk, whose enhanced hearing enables her to locate criminals and civilians. In that spirit, she is similar to Uwabami.

With her enhanced physical abilities, she can easily overpower enemies. Combine that with her high pain tolerance, and Rumi can keep fighting even after being injured.

Mina Ashido

This girl is a mixed bag. She can be the strongest girl and the best in her class on her day. But other days, she might look quite weaker. Famous as the Ridley Hero: Alien Queen, she possesses a Quirk known as Acid. That allows her to manipulate all aspects. For example, she can control its viscosity and solubility according to her liking.

Because of her acid Quirk and ability, she can attack and defend extremely well. It makes her dangerous to other heroes. And her acid’s corrosive properties can do tremendous damage. When defending, she can use the Acidman technique. It covers her entire body in a layer of acid powerful enough to dissolve every attack.

Ryuko Tatsuma

This girl uses her Dragon Quirk to transform herself into a terrifying dragon. In that form, she can fly and rip apart entire buildings. Her personality is passionate about saving people.

Because of her enhanced strength and durability, Ryuko is a formidable opponent.

Yaoyorozu Momo

Many fans view her as the smartest student with great analytical abilities. She has an extremely high intellect and a Quirk known as Creation. This allows her to create anything out of her exposed skin as long as she knows the basic structure of the subject/object she wants to create.

At first glance, her powers appear to be below average. But she has the brains that make her more than capable of defeating enemies. Because of her intelligence, she has more than just one way to defeat her enemies.

She was used as a human guinea pig to develop a Quirk-erasing drug for the villains. She has a Quirk known as Rewind. This enables to reverse a person’s body back to a previous state. It was used to erase one of the Big 3’s Quirks.

She was not physically strong as a child. But her Quirk is extremely powerful and easily manipulated in the wrong hands. That makes her a dangerous tool or useful asset.

Ochaco Uraraka

Her Hero name is Uravity. Ochaco is one of the most loved characters in the My Hero Academia fandom. And definitely one of the most popular MHA girl characters.

She is quite powerful even without her special powers. Her Quirk is Zero Gravity, allowing her to remove the effects of gravity on certain objects she touches. And she can do that to herself as well.
